Forever Friends

I was thinking about how to tell you

Life is too short to sit and brood

Or let important words left unspoken too.

Your forever friend gets you through the hard time

Holds your hand and tells you everything will be fine

If you find such a friend happy you will be

I have found that friend in you and hope you find that in me.

I am so lucky to have you in my life

You accept me at my worst

And make me

Feel amazing at my best.

I couldn’t imagine life without you

I am a better person when with you

I can count on you and trust

To be there when I need you most.

Your laughter is contagious and with all the grace

You light up the atmosphere at any place.

When I am sad and I cry

You put your arms around to make me smile you try

I know there are struggles in your life too

Remember life is tough and so are you.

Please do not let anyone get you down

As you are amazing – if anyone says otherwise

They are wrong

Just know when you are sad

And I am not near

Dear God will wipe away

Your every tear.

I cannot find words so strong to express

What you always meant to me since long.

Thank you deeply for your love and kindness

And giving me so much happiness.

We need a best friend in difficult and complicated times

I will always be there for you

Whilst you give me hope and strength

Even if and when far apart

You will always be in my heart.

I love and pray again

That our relationship always remains the same

And forever has no end.
